A Brief Introduction of Our Institute
In order to reinforce the teachers education training in this region, Saint
Swami Keshwanandji with his far-sightedness, organized teacher’s training
programs several times since 1944 till 1952. The teachers trained through these
training camps were being posted to 287 schools under the Bikaner Division by
the Gramotthan Vidyapeeth. To make it a permanent practice & to make his dream
come true, Swami Keshwanandji established a teachers training school in 1956 and
a educational school in 1965 both of which are running under one roof in the
form of Gramotthan Vidyapeeth Post Graduate Siksha Mahavidyalaya. The courses
run under this department are B.S.T.C., B.Ed., M.Ed. & Ph.D.(Education). In 1987
the M.Ed. was initiated and in 1992 Ph.D.(Education) was started.
